Cartoon night scene with smiling and crying trees with crowns under a full moon and stars, in a green landscape with a river and two tiny characters.

Welcome To The Drawing Board

If you have wandered onto this page, this either means you are curious, exploring, or interested in designing spawn/card/special/miscellaneous arts for the EternalDex team!

We take heavy pride in our artists, they keep the bot from becoming lackluster, and provide ideas that we can further expand on, implement, and use to the benefit of the bot.

Joining the EternalDex Artist team is simple, all you have to do is join the main server, reach out to KingBitter via DMs, and most likely you’ll be given a test-task to see your skills!

There is more detailed information regarding artists below, which may/may not impact your decision to join the team.

EternalDex Artwork Terms

1. Ownership

All artwork you create and submit remains fully yours. EternalDex is granted permission to use the work, not ownership of it.

2. Submission Location

Artwork is only accepted when posted in the #📡〱eternal-employees channel.

DMs or unofficial posts do not count unless a Developer explicitly approves otherwise.

3. Human-Made Requirement

All submitted artwork must be created by you. The following are not allowed:

AI-generated art, traced artwork, plagiarism or copied work

4. Invalid Submissions

If artwork is found to be AI-made, traced, or plagiarized:

It will not be used, and you will be asked to redo it properly or take a different task

Refusing to comply may result in removal from the team.

5. Deadlines

Artists are given one month to complete assigned artwork unless a Developer grants an extension.

If you do not start, do not make progress, or abandon the task, you will be required to finish it, switch tasks, or step away from the project.

6. Use of Artwork

By submitting artwork, you allow EternalDex to display it in the bot, crop, resize, or format it as needed, and use it for visual presentation.

Your artwork will NEVER be sold (by the EternalDex Team).

7. Updates and Replacements

Artwork may be adjusted for formatting, replaced by an improved or updated version, or removed if it no longer meets project standards.

8. Artist Credits

Your name will be credited in EternalDex. Players can view credits using /eternal info (eternalname).

9. Continued Use

Once artwork is submitted and added to EternalDex, it may continue to be used indefinitely.

Removal requests are only considered for serious or exceptional reasons.

10. Rights Outside EternalDex

You retain full rights to your artwork. You may use, sell, modify, or publish it anywhere else without restriction.

11. Retirement and Return

Artists may retire at any time, with or without notice. Retirement may be temporary or permanent.

Retired artists may return later if approved by a Developer, Retirement does not revoke credit for past work.

12. Check System (Not Deadlines)

EternalDex uses a checkdate system to track progress. A checkdate is when a Developer asks how your project is going.

It is not a due date. Check frequency:

Artists: 3 times per month | Head Artists: 2 times per month | Developers: 1 time per month | Noted Artists: Random

On a checkdate, you must provide something:

A progress update, sketch, an explanation of delay

Failure to provide any response or progress on a checkdate without a valid excuse will result in a permanent strike.

13. Roles and Authority

Head Artists may guide, not command. Developers have final say and can request edits/redraws. KingBitter can override any decision.

14. Work Limits

Work limits define the maximum number of artworks a person may work on at the same time.
Artists: 1 artwork | Head Artists: 3 artworks | Developers: 5 artworks

15. Agreement

Submitting artwork for EternalDex means you agree to all terms above.
